I am fascinated with Perfection- the kind of perfection when one accidentally drop a stitch while knitting, forget a loop while crocheting, a crack in fired clay or an imperfect photograph. There is such beauty in imperfections that to me they are an image of the real and perfection.

Photography can advance itself to memory , an imprint of what was, and in embracing this concept I created a landscape with multiple images of an area devastated by a recent bushfire. The handmade Danish lace become a resting place in the static and busy image, memory and dualism play important roles in the web-like black burnt background and the delicate light lace.
